The Mediterranean
region is linked not only by the sea a temperate climate,
but also the long and tumultuous history of conquests and
occupations. Our ancestors wove a big part in the fabric
of the Mediterranean. Leaving behind visible remnants of
trade routes & great civilizations. For centuries, the
Mediterranean Sea was every active trading route and this
resulted in a rich history of cultural exchange. It is not
surprising that food ideas crossed national boundaries & were
adapted to suit people with different needs.

the geographical and culinary focus of “OREXI” stretches
from the northern part of Thessaloniki down to the island
of Crete.
